Introducing Cindi

Thursday, March 30th, 2006

Cindi is the first person to post a myspace URL in her profile, which blows my theory out of the water that myspace is only for teenage girls and lecherous old men.

Confession time: I don’t get myspace. Sure, I’ve trolled around on it and stalked teenage girls (only girls that I know or who know my son [who also doesn't get myspace because he would rather eat burritos and read books by Orson Scott Card—usually at the same time], and just to see what the kids are into these days and if I can still be considered cool enough to hang with the teenage girl crowd [Answers: boys with giant crazy hair and no, I'm not allowed]), but is it good for middle-aged chubby women who are married and have children and really no spare time unless you count all the time they spend thinking up new and exciting ways to use cheese as a vehicle to get their 5 fruits and vegetables a day?

Maybe Cindi can tell us.

Introducing Misty

Wednesday, March 29th, 2006

Misty works for Hell, Inc, Some Sort of Online Auction House. This means, if you’re one of the cool kids, you get to ask her questions about how to do stuff on Hell, Inc, Some Sort of Online Auction House. That also means, since she’s now a member of the CGB, that the rest of you are now cool kids. See how easy that was?

Also, I’ve known Misty for a few years and I really like her. So everyone be nice and don’t start complaining about how Hell, Inc, Some Sort of Online Auction House wouldn’t let you sell your kidney for extra cash. Cool kids aren’t whiners.
